Raleigh NC high quality fabric stores for women's apparel (or Cary, Apex, Chapel Hill, Triangle area)?
I've moved here from Dallas and have been looking for a high quality fabric store for women's GARMENT fabric. I'm looking for a store with fabrics that are typically finer than those carried by JoAnn or Hancock. Dallas had many fine fabric stores and I'm at a loss here. I'm looking for good quality rayons, silks, linens, fine cottons, light weight wools etc. Aren't there any independent fabric stores that offer unique sewing fabrics for women's apparel? HELP!!! Maybe in Cary, Chapel Hill, Apex?? I will really appreciate any help on this!
Yes, Discount Fabric Warehouse on Maitland Dr. in Raleigh (right off of New Bern). All their fabric is one price and they have a pretty good inventory. Also, Elegant Stiches in Cary. Their website is elegantstitches.com.
