Cropper Hopper Embellishment Organizer for Storing Ribbon
Ribbon can add a great look to any scrapbook page. For one thing, ribbon is versatile (you can use it as a border, tie a bow as an embellishment, or lay it down as you would strips of paper). Ribbon also comes in all sorts of colors, sizes, styles and patterns.
There are a lot of things to consider when using ribbon – the least of which is how to store your ribbon. There are lots of ribbon storage products available, depending on your storage space, scrap habits and personal preference.
One item to consider is the Cropper Hopper Embellishment Organizer. Measuring approximately 11.5” x 10“ x 3”, the case comes with 30 evenly divided compartments to make ribbon storage neat and orderly. To make the most out of your space, use the Cropper Hopper Ribbon Cards with the organizer. Be sure, however, to note that the ribbon cards come in two different sizes – and only the smaller sizes fit into the Embellishment Organizer.
To use the ribbon cards, pull a small piece of your ribbon through the hole in the center of the cards, then simple wind the ribbon around card. Continue the process until you get to the end of the ribbon, then either secure the ribbon through one of the cut slats on the card or use the Cropper Hopper Ribbon Clips. These will prevent the ribbon from unwinding accidentally.
The Cropper Hopper Embellishment Organizer, used with the ribbon cards and ribbon clips, are ideal if you have a variety of ribbon. Each compartment will hold between three to six cards, and the cards are ideal for thinner ribbons (no more than ¼” thick). You can easily organize your ribbon by color to make it easy to find what you’re looking for. Because it’s in a single case, it’s also ideal for transporting and makes it easy to take to crops.
The Cropper Hopper Embellishment Organizer can be used to store just about any small embellishment (such as brads, eyelets, buttons, charms and more). If you don’t have a lot of ribbon, you can use the Cropper Hopper to store your ribbon and other small items. Cropper Hopper makes small embellishment boxes that fit directly into the case so that you can fit even more into your storage case.
