I need a tattoo idea!?

So my 18th birthday is in may, and I was looking in to getting a few small tattoo's. I'm a guy to start with, and I was thinking about getting an 8th note behind my ear, it's small, and it's not too noticeable (symbolically it would be 'music to my ear'). A few issues I'm dealing with is the fact that I'm going to college for nursing atm, so I can't have it be to big. The second would be I don't know what to get. Other than the music note, I was thinking about getting 1 or two Chinese symbols on my calves. but I have no idea what to get, do you have any suggestions? i like the tattoo behind your ear thing and i like that it has meaning to it. you say thinking about a lot in your question and that is a small red flag to me. i think tattoos should always be meaningful and you should be absolutely sure about what your getting before you get it. what i did when i was unsure about what i was getting was pick an idea and wait like two or three weeks to see if you still like it. as for the chinese symbols if thats what you want go for it, but i think a better place for it would be on the inside of the top part of your arms. i think thats a really neat place that guys put tattoos. plus you wont have a problem hiding it. i really dont like leg tattoos because those arent so easy to hide in certain seasons and they arent that attractive to me. but really all that matter is what you like. your the one thats going to have it forever
