Does using x-rays to diagnose kidney stones cause birth defects?
I am considering getting a x-ray to diagnose if I have kidney stones, but my doctor has informed me that using x-rays to that area of the body will increase the likelihood of birth defects. Any input would be great. Thanks in advance!!
A couple of x-rays, especially if you aren't pregnant at the time, are not going to hurt you. Was your doctor trained in the 1920s or something? Maybe you should find a new doctor who doesn't give out incorrect information.
